About Wonder-Shirts
We're not just a t-shirt company. We're not just a sweatshirt company either or a purveyor of top-quality tote bags. We've been around since 1980 (first as Kidstamps and for the past nine years as Wonder-Shirts), but my enthusiasm for this company and our reason for being has just a bit to do with selling apparel. Wonder-Shirts exists to promote reading...particularly the reading of children's books...and our products are purchased and proudly worn by those who agree with us: parents, kids, grandparents, teachers, librarians, and anyone else who takes joy in the written word (and remarkable illustrations). And to help us spread the word (so to speak), we've enlisted the help of some of the best illustrators in the world of children's literature.
NEW! We recently added three new designs to our inventory, including one by the creator of Scaredy Squirrel, popular (and new to Wonder-Shirts) illustrator Mélanie Watt: ELEPHANT & PIGGIE (Mo Willems), I SAW DRACULA (Edward Gorey), and SCAREDY SQUIRREL (Mélanie Watt). For the very first time...and in response to MANY customer requests...we're offering all three new designs in BOTH standard cut unisex t-shirts and women's fitted cuts. We hope you enjoy them.
We hope you’ll take the time to explore our entire site. A good place to start is by clicking on the “Items” button to the left. Doing so will take you directly to a page that lists all of our contributing artists and lets you browse among them or even make a purchase. We’ve attempted to standardize selections: most of our designs are available as both t-shirts and tote bags, but several can also be purchased as sweatshirts. All standard t-shirts are available in Children’s Medium (10-12) and Adult sizes ranging from Small through Extra-Extra Large, but we also manufacture several designs in a wider range of sizes from Children's XS up through Adult XXXL. Poke around…you’re sure to find something you like!
All t-shirts are heavy-weight 100% pre-shrunk cotton. Our tote bags are jumbo sized (20” x 15” x 5”) with a squared-off bottom for extra room! Totes are heavy weight cotton with sturdy web handles, long enough to sling over your shoulder. All sweatshirts are a cotton/polyester blend.
Ordering is easy and completely secure: simply click on the design you'd like to order, select a size (if applicable), fill in the quantities desired next to each item and click the “Add to Shopping Cart" button. To continue ordering click the “Continue Shopping” button or begin the checkout process by clicking “Go to Checkout.”
And don’t miss the “Sale Items” listed on the "Items" page. Wonder-Shirts is always making room for new designs and we sell discontinued styles and shirts in odd sizes at remarkable discounts. No other purchase is necessary (though it is sincerely appreciated), so you can save a bundle!
